Foma Fomapan 400 Action - 17m

Cutting my own rolls from the 17-meter bulk spool felt oddly satisfying, and the panchromatic sensitivity handled mixed indoor lighting better than I expected. For a budget black-and-white stock, the grain is surprisingly tight at 400 speed.

I've been shooting this at 800 and pushing in Rodinal, the grain stays tight and the contrast is beautiful. For the price per roll when bulk loading, it's hard to beat for gritty street work.

Bulk rolling 17m of this has saved me so much money compared to buying individual cassettes, and the grain has this lovely classic look that suits street shooting perfectly. Shot it at box speed in overcast light and the contrast came out just right.
