Ilford Delta Pro 400 - 35mm 36Exp

The tonal range on this roll is genuinely impressive—even in harsh midday light, the shadows held detail without blowing out the highlights. Grain is fine for a 400-speed stock, and the negatives scanned beautifully.

The grain structure on this 400-speed film is incredibly fine, giving my night street shots a smooth, almost velvety look. It holds detail in the shadows better than I expected for such a versatile stock.

Used this for a portrait shoot in mixed lighting and was impressed with the shadow detail retention. The tonal range feels deeper than other 400 speed films I've tried, though I did wish for slightly less grain in the midtones.
