The thinner base really shows in the scans—crisp negatives with a look I couldn’t get from regular stock. Loaded a roll for a street session and the ghostly, high-contrast vibe was worth the curiosity alone.

The ultra-thin coating on this X-ray film gave me negatives with incredible fine detail, even in low contrast scenes. Developed them in standard chemicals and the results were beautifully crisp without any fogging issues.

Shot my first roll with a tripod today, and the fine grain from the single-sided emulsion really captures unexpected detail in high-contrast light. Having used regular black and white stocks before, the flexibility in exposure is impressive for a converted X-ray film.
