Rollei Infrared 400 - 35mm 36Exp

The deep blacks are velvety smooth while the highlights bloom just enough to feel dreamy, exactly what I wanted for my architecture shots. Shot it at box speed on a bright day and the infrared effect still came through beautifully on the trees.

I loaded a roll expecting the usual halation, but the way it renders foliage almost white against a slate sky is unlike anything I’ve shot at box speed. The ISO 400 rating means I didn’t even need a tripod for most of my afternoon walk, and the negatives came back with that creamy mid-tone separatio

The deep blacks and that signature infrared glow are exactly what I was after for my landscape shots. At ISO 400 it handles midday sun beautifully, and the 36 exposures give me plenty of room to experiment with different filters.
