Finally pulled the trigger on this developer and the grey tones on my test rolls are gorgeous—really brings out shadow detail without blowing highlights. Mixing it was straightforward too, no fuss at all.

The compensating effect is real—my Foma 100 negatives came out with beautifully smooth midtones and no blown highlights, even in harsh midday sun. Mixed it up in about five minutes and the 250ml bottle did a full week of rolls. Best part is the grey scale, which makes printing a joy.
