Cercafuoco Major Paterson

My back doesn’t ache anymore when I’m dodging the enlarger head to check focus on a 16x20. The extra height puts the controls right at hand, and the wide lens still lets me see the grain sharp across the whole frame. Feels sturdy too, not like the flimsy loupes I’ve used before.

Finally, a focus finder that doesn’t have me hunched over the easel for big prints – the extra height makes a real difference. The controls are easy to reach, and it works just as well for smaller prints too.

Setting the focus with this finder is actually enjoyable now—the extra height means I'm not hunched over, and I can easily reach my enlarger controls even on big prints. The larger viewing surface makes critical focus so much quicker than my old loupe ever did.
