Paterson 2000D Precision Enlarger Timer

The illuminated display is easy to read even in a dim darkroom, and the rotary dial makes setting exposure times quick and intuitive. It’s been a reliable upgrade from my old mechanical timer.

Very pleased with how solidly built this timer feels, and being able to dial in precise half-second increments has made dodging and burning so much more consistent.

I was initially confused by the old analog timer, but this one made dialing in exact exposures so much simpler right from the first print session. The audible beep at the end of each cycle is a surprisingly handy feature when I'm working with multiple trays at once.
