Bellini Hydrofen Developer - 250ml

Shot a roll of HP5 at box speed and developed in this for 11 minutes at 20°C — the negatives came out with a lovely fine grain and tonal range that holds up in the highlights. Contrast sits right where I want it for normal scenes, and it’s cheap enough that I don’t mind mixing 1+50 for small batches

Finally, a developer that gives me those classic Rodinal-style negatives with a hint of extra smoothness—the fine grain is exactly what I wanted for my medium format rolls. Contrast stays nicely balanced even when I push it a stop, and the 250ml bottle has lasted me through a good number of tanks.

I’ve been using this developer for my medium format negatives, and the contrast is just right—not too harsh, but plenty of snap. The 250ml bottle lasts longer than I expected for the price.
