Adox ADOSTOP ECO P Stopbath with Indicator - Makes 5L

Adox Adostop ECO P Stopbath with Indicator to Mix 5L

A powder concentrate stopbath for black and white film and paper, Adostop ECO P is a citric acid–based alternative to traditional acetic acid formulas. It’s almost odourless, biodegradable, and includes a built-in indicator dye that shifts colour when the solution is exhausted, helping you maintain consistent darkroom results.

Why We Like It

This stopbath is particularly well suited to schools, colleges, and shared darkrooms where air quality and safety matter, thanks to its citric acid base and the absence of hazardous substances. The indicator is a genuine timesaver, giving you clear visual feedback so you know exactly when to refresh your working solution. For fibre-based papers it’s especially important, as skipping a stopbath here can lead to staining or streaking further down the line. If you’re used to the sharp vinegar smell of traditional stop, you’ll find this formula much more pleasant to work with, leaving just a faint citrus note in the air.
