Beseler Printmaker 67VC Enlarger and 50mm Lens Kit

The Printmaker 67VC is a diffuser model (with transformer) that can produce first-rate enlargements from any size of negative from 35mm through to 6x7cm.

The 67VC enlarger can accommodate 35mm, 6x4.5cm, 6x6cm, 6x7cm and 35mm 2”x2” mounted slides WITH the appropriate negative carriers for each desired film format.  Each different negative size requires its own carrier.

The 35mm negative carrier is included in the 50mm lens kit, but 50mm enlarging lenses only work for 35mm film format.

It makes grade selection easy too as it incorporates a single knob to choose your setting via its additive dichroic filter system rather than having to insert individual filters into a below lens filter drawer (which is also included). Any grade from 0 through to 5 can be selected using this system.

The 67VC also automatically maintains a constant printing speed throughout the entire contrast range, thereby eliminating the need for recalculation of exposures when changing the grade (contrast).

The white laminated baseboard allows enlargements up to 12 x 16 inches but if bigger enlargements are required you can simply reverse the column for printing onto the floor. The Printmaker has a one metre high column. It also includes a novel focus knob which can be attached for either left or right handed users.

Standard equipment includes a 35mm negative carrier, filter drawer for 3 inch (89mm) variable contrast filters and high-quality optical glass condenser included. It takes normal 85w watt halogen bulbs and although made in the USA it uses European 230/240v output electrics and come with fitted 3 pin UK plug.

Please note:

For packaging, the carriage is turned upward to better fit the carton and protect it. If you place the black lever in the centre (projection pivot locking lever #16 on page 1 of the manual), this unlocks the carriage, and you can then rotate it 180° so it is facing downward in the proper direction. The bellows face downward. This enlarger has a swivel base. Once it's vertical, that lever can be pushed to either side to lock in place.
