The light can be controlled with a horizontal and vertical bounce, and the versatile power range of 1/1 to 1/1024 gives a softer look. It has a catchlight panel which can give an extra sparkle in the eye and your settings can be tweaked on the go with the electronic dial, or the E-TTL II auto flash can be enabled to instantly adjust to the correct exposure. It’s light to carry and so perfect for travel or for a longer shoot. The Speedlite EL-10 has a wireless camera flash that recharges in just 1.5 seconds, 24-105mm of zoom coverage, and a powerful output with a guide number of 40. It is powered by four AA batteries and will last at least 260 full power shots. The battery level can be watched and the settings on the LCD panel are easily adjusted even when the light drops. The 21-pin multi-function foot enables quick communication with the EOS R-system cameras and settings can be adjusted straight from the camera screen, up to three custom modes can be preset, and even operated remotely through the Camera Connect App.
