This LED safelight is designed for usage close to the enlarger and also for small darkrooms, e.g. a darkened bathroom. The LED safelight is, so to speak, the little brother of our extremely popular and 1m long rod-shaped LED safelight. This luminaire generates red light for safe working with all multigrade papers.

The intensity is slightly higher than that of the well-known Ilford SL1 safelight equipped with a 15W lamp. Compared to that, no orange but a pure red light is emitted and the power consumption is only 1W.

Ryan ★★★★★

I was worried about heat buildup in my tiny bathroom darkroom, but this little LED stays completely cool even after hours of use. The light is bright enough to see what I'm doing with chemicals without fogging my paper. Perfect for a cramped workspace.

Julian ★★★★★

The compact size is perfect for my converted bathroom darkroom, and the light stays cool even after hours of use. I can finally see my prints clearly without worrying about fogging the paper.

Abigail V. ★★★★★

I set this up in my bathroom-turned-darkroom and it’s bright enough to see my trays clearly but doesn’t fog the paper. The compact size is perfect for tight spaces, and the LED stays cool even after hours of use. Glad I finally have a safelight that fits my small setup.
