Superbly engineered from 316 Stainless Steel for lifetime use, this reel is easy to load thanks to the design of its sprocket system and its simple hook-on loading device; hold the film out straight and turn the reel until the sprocket holes catch onto the hooks - all in less than 2 seconds. This version fits most larger size universal stainless steel developing tanks like the Samigon 120 .The spiral diameter is 83mm or 3.25 inches.

For convenience, you'll find that this stainless steel can be reloaded when wet, unlike plastic ones (which need to be dry).
The second picture shows how the reel sits in the optional 120mm Samignon Stainless Steel tank.

Benjamin ★★★★★

Loaded my first roll of 120 on this reel and the hook-on mechanism held the film perfectly straight, no creases or snags. The solid 316 stainless steel gives it a reassuring weight and smoothness that plastic reels just can't match.

Natalie C. ★★★★★

Finally, a steel reel that loads smoothly every time without kinking the film. The hook-on mechanism holds the film securely in place, and the 316 stainless steel feels incredibly solid in the hand.

Miles ★★★★★

I've been using stainless reels for years, and this one loads 120 film noticeably smoother—the sprocket system really prevents those frustrating kinks. It feels solid without being heavy, and the film stays perfectly in place during agitation.
