Kaiser is the expert, specialist copystand manufacturer. In our view, they make the best copystands because of their system compatibility. This means they perfectly tailor their stands, lights and accessories to your individual requirements.

We now list this stand without lights for you to customize as preferred.

As a tip in copying, we suggest you use a 50mm standard lens or, better still if you have it, an 80mm enlarger lens using an adaptor or bellows unit. If a film user, make sure you use a slow one. Film like Ilford PanF, Fuji Reala or Velvia and a self-adhesive spirit level, to get parallels correct, is a useful additional accessory to consider.

The RS1 copy stand has a counter-balanced height adjustment and an adjustable camera arm that can be set to different camera bodies. RS1 is 17.7 x 19.7 inches. The column height on both is 41 inches.

Maximum load: 9 lbs (4 kg)

Eli ★★★★★

I've been using this copystand for flat art reproduction, and the adjustable column height makes cropping so much easier than my old setup. The metal construction feels solid enough to last years.

Elizabeth U. ★★★★★

The column slides so smoothly that setting up each shot feels almost meditative, and the locking mechanism holds everything rock-solid once you've got the height dialed in. I've been digitizing old family photos all week and the adjustable base arms make positioning a breeze without any fiddly align

Carter G. ★★★★★

The base plate's system of threaded inserts makes swapping between camera and copy work incredibly smooth. I've mounted both a DSLR and a flatbed scanner without any wobble.
