Kodak Selenium is a single, re-usable solution that works without first having to bleach the image. It is used when archival permanence is required and gives a warm purple black, similar to red toner but with additional archival properties. It can be combined with other toners for split-toning techniques.

Lily Q. ★★★★★

It’s nice to have a toner that skips the bleach step entirely—just mix, dip, and watch the shadows pull that warm purple-black. This bottle’s gone a long way for me since it’s reusable, so the 946ml size feels like a solid investment for darkroom work.

Amelia ★★★★★

The purple-black tone it gives to my fiber prints is exactly the warm, archival look I was after. I love that it's a single bath with no extra bleaching step, and the 946ml bottle has lasted through dozens of sessions.

Timothy ★★★★★

I was hesitant about the single-solution process at first, but it really does work without bleaching. The warm purple-black tone is exactly what I wanted for my fiber prints, and a little goes a long way.
