AP Film Cassette Opener

The first time my film got stuck, I just popped the lid off this tool and cracked the cassette open like a bottle cap without damaging anything. It's way easier than trying to pry it with a knife in the darkroom.

I’d been dreading wrestling with a stubborn film cassette in the dark, but this opener makes it as quick as popping a bottle cap. The beer-bottle-style lever is surprisingly intuitive.

Cracked open three stuck cassettes in under a minute—the bottle-opener style grip makes it effortless in the dark. No more fumbling with knives or risking scratched film.
