Ilford Delta Pro 400 - 35mm 24Exp

Finally a 400-speed black and white that holds its shadow detail without getting muddy in the highlights. The tonal range on these negatives is genuinely wide, and sharpness holds up even when I push it a stop.

I’ve been shooting with this Delta 400 in mixed lighting, and the way it handles shadows without blocking up is impressive. The tonal range is noticeably wider than other 400-speed films I’ve tried.

Shot at a dimly lit concert and the grain stayed so fine I could still make out the singer’s expression in the shadows. The depth it gives to textures really makes the images pop.
