Mixed up my first batch last weekend and the three-part formula mixed really smoothly with no clumping. The positive image effect on the black surface came out exactly as described—crisp and rich. I'm impressed with how much working solution 3.8 litres actually yields.

Mixed a full batch to the 3.8-litre mark and the tonal range on my black-glass plates is exactly what I'd hoped for—clean highlights without that muddy flatness. It's the first developer I've tried where the positive image actually pops straight out of the tray.

I've been using this three-part developer for my wet plate collodion work, and the positive image it produces on black surfaces is genuinely striking. The 3.8-litre batch lasts me through several sessions without any noticeable drop in quality.
