Fomapan 100 Classic is a flexible, panchromatically sensitized black and white negative film that produces fine grain and a very high resolution. It adapts well to exposure errors but may not be as dense in shadow areas as some of its contemporaries. It is the cheapest 120mm black and white film that we sell.

The nominal sensitivity of Fomapan 100 Classic is ISO 100/21. It gives good results within an exposure range of EI 50/18 to EI 400/27. Fomapan 100 Classic resolving power: 110 lines/mm.

Ella R. ★★★★★

The panchromatic sensitivity handles mixed indoor and outdoor light beautifully, and the flexible base spooled through my medium format back without any kinks. Midtones come out with that classic creamy look, and at $4 a roll it’s hard to beat for everyday street work.

Hannah L. ★★★★★

I’ve been shooting this in medium format, and the fine grain really holds up even when I push it a stop in development. The box speed is dead-on, giving me solid contrast for outdoor portraits.

Richard A. ★★★★★

The film’s panchromatic sensitivity handles tricky mixed lighting surprisingly well in my medium format shots, and the negatives stay crisp even after a bit of overdevelopment. For the price, it’s become my go-to for everyday street work.
