Foma Fomapan 100 - 5 x 7in 50 Sheets

Fomapan 100 5x7" 50 Sheets

Fomapan 100 is a classic black and white large format film that offers fine grain, high resolution and reliable performance at an affordable price. It is a well-loved choice for 5x7 photographers who want clean, detailed negatives without stretching the budget.

Why We Like It

This film suits a wide range of shooting styles, from careful tripod work to more experimental projects. Its ISO 100 speed is comfortable for both studio and outdoor use, and the flexible exposure latitude makes it forgiving if your metering slips a little. Shadows are not quite as deep as some modern emulsions, so a slight overexposure can help bring out more detail. When paired with a gentle developer, such as a standard metol-hydroquinone formula, it produces crisp, well-toned negatives that print beautifully in the darkroom. If you are building confidence with 5x7 or simply want a dependable everyday film, this is an excellent option.
